The Journal of Sorathin (The Green Knight) Session 71

The others woke the next morning, and Luon claimed he dreamt of the temple. Inside, we might find some holy relic kept by some lizardfolk god. This seems like a bad idea, but I suppose we have done more dangerous things. Still what do we do about the odd tentacle creatures? This time, Thoragen volunteered to insert his head into the strange darkness, and he suddenly disappeared. Salin tried to get a message to him, but he didn’t respond. Moments later, the mountain exploded. It took me a moment to realize that as I was suddenly thrown to the ground, a far less gruesome fate. The others were thrown high into the air by the explosion. Krellem’s armor was unrecognizable. Somehow his god had saved him, because he was still alive afterwards. He tried to heal his injuries when suddenly a small golden egg planted itself into his helmet. After making sure our surroundings were safe, although scorched, we examined the egg and realized that this was likely the artifcact that Luon had mentioned. A shame that half of the mountain was lost in the explosion, but at least it all ended well. I wonder what we will find in the next temple?
